Former Angelo State men's basketball star Marcus Hubbard has been announced as one of the 18 members on the training camp roster of the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks.
Hubbard, a 6'9", 230-pound native of West Palm Beach, Fla., spent last season with the Dakota Wizards and Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA Development League. He averaged better than eight points and four rebounds per game last season for Dakota and Rio Grande. Hubbard was honored as NBA D-League All-Star and lifted his All-Star squad to a win over the Portland Trailblazers with a game-winning buzzer-beater in July. He was one of 10 players from the D-League to be chosen to the All-Star team.
