RESULTS
SAN ANGELO, Texas – The Angelo State women's cross country team finished fourth and the men's team placed fifth at the Lone Star Conference Cross Country Championships held in Lawton, Okla.
Annifer Flores,
Emeline Crutcher and
Jamin Goecker were all named to the All-LSC team for finishing in the top 15. West Texas A&M won its first title on the women's side and Eastern New Mexico won its second-straight title in the men's race.
The women had two finish in the top 10 with Flores complete the 6K course in 22:39 for fifth place. Cruthcer was right behind her in sixth with a time of 22:42.
Sofia Ramos was the third runner across the line for the Rambelles as she ran 23:50 for 25
th.
Kami Orsak hit the tape at 24:00 for 27
th place and Jessica Bourdrea was on her heels in 28
th with her time of 24:03.
Katy Williams finished in 43
rd with a 25:02 with
Chastity King placing 45
th in a time of 25:12.
The Rams placed three in the top 20 with Goecker leading the team placing 10
th. He covered the 8K course in 25:46 to earn his first All-LSC selection for finishing 10
th.
Dylan Littlejohn ran a 26:16 to cross the line in 17
th and
Tomas Callejas was behind him in 19
th with a time of 26:22.
Two freshmen were next to finish as
Graham Hazlewood ran a 26:47 for 29
th and
Josh Day was on his heels in 30
th with a time of 26:47.
Isac Valdez ran a 26:55 to place 35
th and
Anthony Rabaey was 62
nd crossing the line in 30:31.
The Rams and Rambelles will now focus on the NCAA Division II South Central Regional meet held on Saturday, Nov. 3 in Denver, Colo.
