SAN ANGELO – The Lone Star Conference baseball champion Angelo State Rams will be holding an open tryout for interested current or future-student athletes at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6. Tryouts will be held at Foster Field, located at 1600 University Avenue.

Prior to the tryout, each participant must have a copy of a current physical. High school, two-year or four-year recruits must have a physical within the past academic year. For those who are not a current student-athlete anywhere, the physical must be dated within the past six months. Four-year recruits must bring a copy of permission to speak and/or release.

Tryout participants must also complete a tryout waiver of liability, which can be found on AngeloSports.com, in order to participate. The waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian for those who are under the age of 18. Registration with the NCAA Clearinghouse, current high school transcripts, along with SAT/ACT scores are highly recommended, but not required.
