The Angelo State soccer team is scheduled to play 18 regular-season matches this season, including seven Lone Star Conference and one non-conference at the ASU Soccer Field in 2012.
The Rambelles' road schedule includes opening the season on Aug. 30 at Texas-Permian Basin in Odessa and a trip to Durango, Colo. to play against Colorado Mesa and Fort Lewis College. ASU, which is coming off their second consecutive trip to the postseason, opens its home schedule on Sept. 1 against New Mexico Highlands.
ASU went 5-6-3 last season in conference to finish fifth and will play a home-and-away series against each LSC school for the second straight season.

Lone Star Conference Breakdown
ASU vs. Abilene Christian
The Wildcats hold a 7-1 all-time advantage over the Rambelles, including sweeping both matches last season. ASU forced Abilene Christian, the LSC regular-season champions who went 13-0-1 in conference play last season, to overtime in their second meeting but fell 2-1 in the extra session. ACU went on to advance to the NCAA DII national tournament. The Rambelles will host the Wildcats in the first meeting of the 2012 season on Sunday, Sept. 16 before making the 1.5 hour trip north to play in Abilene on Friday, Oct. 12 in their 14
th match of the season.
ASU at Eastern New Mexico
The Rambelles hold a 6-4 all-time advantage over the Zias, with the two schools splitting last year's series. Angelo State won the first match 3-0 at home before dropping a 1-0 decision in Portales, N.M. The Rambelles will travel to play ENMU this season on Sunday, Sept. 30 before hosting the Zias on Friday, Oct. 19 at the ASU Soccer Field. ASU has won three of the last four meetings in the series. ENMU finished third in the conference last year and with an 8-8-3 overall record.
ASU at Texas A&M-Commerce
The Lions hold a 3-14-4 all-time advantage over the Rambelles, including eliminating ASU from the LSC tournament last season in penalty kicks. TAMU-Commerce took both regular-season matches last season, including scoring five goals against ASU in Commerce. Angelo State travels to play the Lions on Friday, Sept. 21 before hosting them on Sunday, Oct. 7 at the ASU Soccer Field. TAMU-Commerce finished fourth in the conference last season and with a 6-6-2 overall record.
ASU at Texas Woman's
The Rambelles hold a 7-4-1 all-time advantage over the Pioneers, including sweeping them last season. ASU earned a 2-1 home win and a 3-1 rainy game in Denton last season. The Rambelles will travel from a Friday night match against TAMU-Commerce to play Texas Woman's on Sunday, Sept. 23 before hosting the Pioneers in a 4 p.m. match on Friday, Oct. 5. TWU finished in last place in the conference last season and with a 1-14-3 overall record.
ASU vs. Midwestern State
The Mustangs hold a 6-13-5 all-time advantage over the Rambelles, with the two teams splitting last season and ASU winning four of the last five meetings. The road team won both matches last season. MSU won the LSC Soccer Championship last season by upsetting Abilene Christian in the tournament and advanced to their second straight NCAA DII postseason. ASU opens conference play against MSU on Friday, Sept. 14 in San Angelo before traveling to Wichita Falls to play on Sunday, Oct. 14. MSU finished second in the conference last season with a 14-6-2 overall record and a 9-4-1 LSC mark.
ASU vs. Incarnate Word
The Cardinals hold a 5-8-3 all-time advantage over the Rambelles, including the two schools tying both matches last season. The first match was a 0-0 draw before 1-1 tie in San Angelo in the Rambelles final home game of the 2011 season. Angelo State hosts UIW on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 4 p.m. at the ASU Soccer Field. The final regular-season home game for ASU will be played at UIW on Friday, Oct. 26 leading into the LSC Soccer Championship. The Cardinals finished seventh in the conference last and with a 5-7-5 overall record.
ASU at West Texas A&M
The Lady Buffs hold a 6-11-5 all-time advantage over the Rambelles, with the two schools tying the first match last season before Angelo State took a 1-0 win in Canyon. ASU travels to play WT on Friday, Sept. 28 before hosting them on Sunday, Oct. 21. That game will be the final home game of the season. The Rambelles will honor Danielle Edwards,

Non-Conference Schedule Breakdown
ASU vs. Texas-Permian Basin
The Rambelles hold a 6-2 all-time advantage over the Falcons, including taking a 5-0 win last season at the ASU Soccer Field.
Maggie Schaffer scored three goals for the Rambelles in that game in last year's home opener. The Rambelles will travel to Odessa this season, opening their season at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 30.
ASU vs. New Mexico Highlands
The Rambelles and Cowgirls will meet for the first time ever on Saturday, Sept. 1. The game is Angelo State's home opener and the first of eight games to be played on Victory Lane. The Rambelles are 12-3-2 all-time in home openers.
ASU vs. Colorado Mesa
The Rambelles and Mavericks will meet for the first time ever on Friday, Sept. 7 on the campus of Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo. The Mavericks went 10-8-4 last season and will also play West Texas A&M and Midwestern State this season. Colorado Mesa plays out of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and is where ASU head coach
