The first day of fall camp for the Angelo State football team brought excitement and intensity but it also brought a reminder about doing the little things.
Attention to detail rang out across the practice field from the coaches to the players. Players were reminded to touch the line and be sure to go around the cones. Giving 110% on every play and in every drill resonated loudly.
Players were welcomed with a conditioning test followed by individual drills. The offense and defense both taught schemes and practice ended with a team period that gave players a chance to face some competition.
Day one of fall camp is in the books but preparation continues for the first game of the season on Saturday, September 1 at San Angelo Stadium against Western State. The Rams will be on the practice field again tomorrow at 9:15 a.m. Check out the interviews, highlights and a photo gallery below.
