SAN ANGELO – The Angelo State soccer team returned to the field on Monday with a pair of practices at the ASU Soccer Field.
The Rambelles, who return 13 players and are welcoming in eight freshmen, focused on conditioning drills and testing in the morning before shifting to scrimmages in the afternoon. ASU, which has advanced to the postseason the past two seasons, will open its season on Aug. 30 at Texas-Permian Basin before hosting New Mexico Highlands at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 1.
