The Rams fifth practice of the season had some added enthusiasm and excitement as full pads were put on for the first time.  

The noise level was a little louder in drills and between teammates. Seven-on-seven drills, offensive line vs. defensive line and the full team period had more sound due to collisions than any other practice. Being physical was preached throughout the day.  

 The running backs, the feature interview of the day, have been a cohesive group and one that provides the offense with different options. Each running back provides a different aspect and each push the other in every drill.

Day five of fall camp is in the books but preparation continues for the first game of the season on Saturday, September 1 at San Angelo Stadium against Western State. The Rams will take part in two practices tomorrow with the first at 9:15 a.m. and the second at 7:45 p.m. at San Angelo Stadium.
