The Rams had its first practice of the year at San Angelo Stadium and the coaches harped on mental mistakes during the workout.

The offense was plagued with false starts and missed blocks while the defense missed assignments. The coaches were more vocal during practice reminding players to fix the little mistakes and maintain focus. Players reminded each other to finish the play until the whistle blew.

Day seven of fall camp is in the books but preparation continues for the first game of the season on Saturday, September 1 at San Angelo Stadium against Western State. The Rams will take part in its second two-a-day of the season with practice at 9:15 a.m. and 7:45 p.m.
