The Rams enjoyed the cooler weather during the first practice of the day at the LeGrande Sport Complex.
Both the offense and defense have shown improvement through the first week of practice. The tempo on both sides of the ball has increased since the beginning of fall camp. Limiting mistakes was a reminder being given to players after a few mental mistakes during the team period.
The first practice of day eight is in the books but preparation continues for the first game of the season on Saturday, September 1 at San Angelo Stadium against Western State. The Rams will take part in the second practice of the day at 7:45 p.m. A scrimmage will be held at San Angelo Stadium tomorrow night at 6 p.m.
