The Rams earned a little break as the scheduled two-a-day practice was cut to one. The team was later addressed by former Ram All-American Jimmy Morris, who the Disney movie The Rookie was based.                                         
                                     
Morris spoke to the team for 40 minutes about his life story and what he learned along his journey. Integrity, respect yourself and don't give up on your dream were the highlights of his speech. He stressed to the team how much he wants Angelo State to be successful so he can tell everyone about the Rams and wished the team the best of luck.

Day 13 is in the books but preparation continues for the first game of the season on Saturday, September 1 at San Angelo Stadium against Western State. The Rams will take team photos tomorrow before having the day off.
