SAN ANGELO – The Angelo State soccer team practiced early on Thursday morning and will host Hardin-Simmons in a scrimmage at 11 a.m. on Friday at the ASU Soccer Field. The scrimmage will be the final test against an opponent before the regular season begins next Thursday against Texas-Permain Basin.
"We know Hardin-Simmons is a lot harder team than we have been playing," ASU sophomore
Caitlyn Conaway said. "We are hoping to see how we can do against a good, strong team and hopefully keep winning."
"We are going to have to work on our team defense," ASU senior
Lauren Carnes added. "We are going to have to focus on where they are running because they will be moving off the ball. They are a faster team with better ball skills. We also have to finish the fewer chances that we have tomorrow."
